Fall season athletes’ Senior Night was held on Friday, Oct. 21 at the football team’s last regular season home game. The game was against TF North and was a huge success; the ending score was 54-6, putting in another win for Lemont. This final game puts Lemont’s record at 9-0 and takes the team to the IHSA playoffs.

Girls’ tennis, cross country, girls and guys golf, girl’s swimming, cheerleading, poms, football, and the band were all recognized at Senior Night. All of the seniors on the teams were recognized at the beginning of the game alongside their parents who cheered from the sidelines.

The night was bittersweet for the seniors with the sad realization that this was their last season being on their beloved teams. But, most were happy and enjoyed the night. Senior Bridget Kunkel – a member of the girls’ cross country team – said, “Senior Night was a great opportunity to see the seniors on my team and other teams be recognized for all their hard work and commitment.” In all, Senior Night was a great night for our 2017 seniors.
