With the start of summer quickly approaching, the moment to whip out last year’s elaborate flower crowns and overly bedazzled outfits is finally upon us. A variety of bands, artists, and DJs will visit Chicago all throughout the summer as eager fans count down the days to their favorite festivals.

Some of this year’s summer festivals include Spring Awakening (June 9 through 11), Lollapalooza (August 3 through 6), Summerfest (June 28 through July 2 and July 4 through July 9) and North Coast Music Festival (September 1 through 3).

Festival goers can purchase tickets online before they sell out to ensure the best festival experience. For many of the events, including Spring Awakening, music lovers will receive their wristbands in the mail.
