2:11 p.m. Capitol protesters make their way into the Capitol Building

At approximately 2:11 p.m., the protesters make their way into the building and reach the Senate Chamber, after clashing with police for more than an hour. Once outside of the chamber, there is a second stand-off with Capitol police officers. In the meantime, Senators are unaware of what is happening outside the chamber doors.
