Students have been having loads of fun dressing up with friends and creating group skits to earn points for their grade.

Students record Neon Day skits on the football field

Day 1 of spirit week was a bright success, and the seniors wound up placing four out of the five skits. To try and keep up the energy of a normal spirit week, students have begun meeting in the mornings to act out skits on the football field.

The faculty is encouraging students to record skits before coming to school, but students are still meeting before school for pictures and to bring back the energy from previous years.

The new format of the skits have welcomed the opportunity to incorporate more creativity into people’s performances, with people including staff and innovative editing to their videos.

The number one skit came from the seniors with an artistic version of YMCA, with the second place skit as a rendition of the blue man group also from the senior class. The sophomores won third place with their Tik Tok featuring Mrs. Kupcheck, the seniors took 4th and 5th place as well.

The links to the skits can be found on the homecoming google site where each one submitted is displayed for the school’s enjoyment.
