Seniors Peyton Jay and Emily Krivograd attended the 2018 IHSA State Journalism meet at Eastern Illinois University on Friday, April 27.

Jay competed in the Editorial Writing category and placed 5th in state.  Krivograd competed in the Feature Writing category and placed 3rd in state.

Both Jay and Krivograd placed 3rd in their respective events at the sectional competition held at Naperville Central High School on April 27. Students who place in the top 3 of their event advance to the state competition.

Jay is the current co-editor of the Tom-Tom.  Krivograd is a web editor for the publication.
