Halloween is unbearable without Haribo Gummy Bears

Haribo invented the gummy bear in 1922 and is still a fan favorite candy over 100 years later.

Kit Kats, Reeses and Twix oh my! You can’t go wrong with a classic chocolate candy, but if you want to switch it up try Haribo Goldbears.

Haribo has created many variations of the gummy candy such as gummy worms, sour gummy bears, gummy cherries and much more. Although these may sound interesting, you can never go wrong with the classic gummy bear.

When I opened my ‘treat sized’ package, I was disappointed to see no green or red flavored bears. In my small pack I got a total of five bears. The flavors included three pineapple, one lemon and one orange.

I first tried the orange, I was underwhelmed. The flavor did not taste like orange and the only reason I could tell the flavor was from the bear’s color. Second, I tried the lemon flavor and it ended up being my favorite of the three. It tasted different than the orange and left a tangy feeling in my mouth. Finally I ate my three pineapple bears and they were just alright.

Overall I enjoyed the gummy candy. I prefer to have a larger bag, but for a simple treat to hand out on Halloween, Haribos are perfect. Eating Haribos was a fruity and nostalgic experience.
