Lollapalooza has been hosted in Chicago since the summer of 1991, and the summertime music festival continues to host some of the most popular artists. Crowds are drawn from all over – Chicagoland and afar – for a chance to see their favorite artists, and this year promises to be no different.
Taking place Thursday, Aug. 1 through Sunday, Aug. 4, concertgoers can expect Grant Park to be lively during the first weekend of August. Four-day tickets went live for presale on March 21, though one-day and two-day went on sale on March 26 through Ticketmaster.
Concert-goers are certainly looking forward to this year’s headliners. Tyler, The Creator and Hozier are set to take the stage on Thursday, SZA and Stray Kids on Friday, The Killers and Future X Metro Boomin take on Saturday while Blink-182 and Melanie Martinez close the festival out on Sunday.
Among the headliners, fans are also looking forward to the other featured artists. Chappell Roan, previously opening for Olivia Rodrigo, and having made a smash at Coachella, will perform at Lollapalooza on Thursday, as will the creator of Euphoria’s soundtrack, Labrinth.
Mean Girls: The Musical’s Renné Rapp and Grammy-winning Victoria Monét are just two of Friday’s performers, each drawing a crowd of their own. Saturday will see the likes of Tate McRae, Ethel Cain and Deftones. Finally, Sunday will bring about Conan Gray, Dominic Fike and The Last Dinner Party.
Rest assured that Lollapalooza will offer performances worthwhile, with artists catering to a variety of music tastes and preferences. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster, or second-party sites such as Vivid Seats.
