Grab your boots and get your tickets! Homecoming is almost here, and this year’s theme is “Nashville Nights.”
Lemont High School will be hosting their annual Homecoming dance on Sept. 28, with city lights and southern vibes.
The dance will take place from 6 to 9:30 p.m., and due to last year’s successful turnout, it will be on the football field again (weather permitting).
You can purchase your tickets on Omella for $35 per person. The price of each ticket includes admission to the dance and one bundt cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes. Ticket sales close this Friday, so make sure to get yours ASAP!
The Homecoming dance is a popular event as the majority of LHS students will be attending. In fact, 79.4% of 68 students who took a recent Homecoming survey said they are going to the dance.
“I really enjoyed Homecoming last year. Getting ready with my friends, taking pictures and then getting to dance and sing all night was super fun,” sophomore Valerie Gamboa said.
“I want to go because this is the last time I will be able to go to a homecoming dance, and I want to remember it with my friends,” senior Samantha Howe said.
“It is a great chance to hang out with my friends, and a part of the ‘highschool’ experience,” freshman Madison Jaczak said.
Going to the Homecoming dance is a great way to get involved in the school community, have fun with friends and make lasting memories.
If you do plan on going, please keep in mind that heels are not allowed on the football field, and you will also need to bring a current LHS ID.
Hope to see y’all there!
