Class Color Day is undoubtedly the most anticipated spirit day of the week. Class Color Day consists of each class dressing up in their designated color: freshmen in orange, sophomores in red, juniors in green and seniors in black. This theme separates each class and makes the week competitive but also unifies the entire school.
“I enjoy Class Color Day because it is the easiest to do and the most fun for everyone,” sophomore Scott Biedess said.
At the end of the school day on Sept. 26, the class games are hosted. Each class had volunteers that were chosen to participate in the games. The games host a variety of competitions such as races and arm wrestling.
“I felt like [the games] brought our grade together, and it was a fun bonding experience,” junior Eleni Tsahiridis said.
The games also offer another opportunity to earn spirit points for the Homecoming competition.
The results of the games saw the sophomores in fourth with 80 points, freshmen in third with 100 points, juniors in second with 115 points and seniors in first with 160 points.
The games definitely intensify the competition and give a sense of pride to each class.
Class Color Day is a Lemont High School tradition, it is looked forward to by students annually.
