Ranked one of the best pumpkin patches in Illinois according to NBC 5 Chicago News, Bengston’s Pumpkin Farm and Fall Fest opened on Sept. 6 for its 42nd season.
Despite the warm weather, fall is right around the corner, which means it’s that time of year to go to Bengston’s.
Bengston’s Pumpkin Farm was originally owned by the Bengston family and sold to the public in the early 1980s.
Bengston’s is open 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday-Friday and 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Saturday-Sunday until Nov. 2. Bengston’s is located on 13341 W. 151st St., Homer Glen.
Not only does Bengston’s have hundreds of pumpkins in all shapes and sizes that you can choose from, but they also have delicious food and desserts, amusement rides, petting zoos, fun photo-ops and many other attractions. They have many activities for all ages ranging from young children to adults.
The amusement rides are a big hit at Bengston’s. They have rides such as Barnstormer Wave Swinger, Rockin’ Rabbits, Barrel Blast and many others. Town Adventure Ride is a fan favorite at Bengston’s that has families returning year after year. Bengston’s Pumpkin Farm and Fall Fest brings people from all over the Chicagoland area. With over 25 attractions, Bengston’s is like no other pumpkin patch.
