The much-anticipated return of Amazon Prime’s “Invincible” has fans buzzing after the dramatic ending of Season 2.
The new season picks up right where the previous season left off, delving deeper into Mark Grayson’s struggles as he balances his superhero duties with the challenges of young adulthood.
This season takes a darker turn, focusing on Grayson’s role as a mentor to his younger half-brother, Oliver, the son of Nolan Grayson (Omni-Man). Many viewers found Season 3 to be a thrilling ride, packed with action and intense fight scenes.
The storyline, which draws from the original comic books, has been praised for its depth and engagement, keeping fans on the edge of their seats. One standout aspect of the season is the voice acting, featuring a lineup of well-known actors. Aaron Paul voices Powerplex, while Xolo Mariduena takes on the roles of Dropkick/Fightmaster.
Doug Bradley and Jonathan Banks also lend their voices, although their specific roles remain unknown, adding an element of excitement to the season for both actors. However, not all feedback has been positive. Some fans have criticized the animation quality, describing it as “lazy” and “stiff.”
“Many of these criticisms are directed towards the animation looking rather stiff overall, with attention only really given to the action sequences,” journalist Richard Nebens said. “Some fans still feel as though they are not as dynamic as they could be, especially when compared to some of the crazier visuals from the original comic run.”
Despite these criticisms, Season 3 of “Invincible” offers a compelling mix of action, emotion and thought-provoking storytelling. The series continues to captivate its audience, leaving fans eager for what comes next in Grayson’s journey.
