Class gifts are a final farewell to the school from the senior class. These gifts are way for the graduating class to leave a legacy at LHS.
Senior class gifts are a long lasting tradition from the graduating students to show their appreciation for their time spent at Lemont High School. Every year, the senior class uses the money raised by their class sponsors and representatives to donate something useful towards future students.
2019 & 2021
The Class of 2019 and the Class of 2021 donated refillable water fountains. These water fountains proved to be a good gift with their continuous use over the years. This gift has had a large impact on both the school community and environment and will continue to for years to come.
2022
The Class of 2022 donated to the Ellie Strong Foundation. The class donated this in memoriam for their peer Ellie Cuiching, who passed due to leukemia. This was a heartwarming gesture and a wonderful gift from the Class of 2022. Her memory will forever be a large part of LHS history.
2023
The Class of 2023 donated the school logo monument placed in the front of the school. This logo greets students as they walk in and out of school, garnering school spirit each day.
2024
The Class of 2024 donated to Young Hearts for Life in memory of Joey Fornero. Fornero was involved in the community and student at Old Quarry Middle School who passed suddenly. The gift was a wonderful way to honor Fornero.
