As the Chicago weather begins to drastically change, so does the fashion. It’s  nearing the time when every girl breaks out her UGGS, blanket scarves and cute winter jackets.

The new trend for this year are these high quality rain boots called Hunter Boots. They are the hot item on every girls “to buy” list.

The Hunter boots originated  in England and have been around since the mid 1800s; they were originally intended for men working in the industrial trade, but more people are using them in a fashion sense.

There are more and more accessories that are becoming part of the usual cold weather trend, but something new that  comes back into style every year are chunky knit scarves. These articles of clothing have been a part of winter fashion for a long time but there are the few items that are coming back into style based upon the trendsetters and fashion writers.

Another trend popular in this weather are Timberland boots keep your feet warmer than an oven, and they are just as durable as they are cute.

Color schemes of the winter time are usually black on white which may seem cliche but it’s not, because monochromatic color schemes have this sense of unity. Both colors are able to be versatile in every which way possible for you winter fashion needs.

From long coats to knit hats, scarves, and mittens to warm winter coats, it doesn’t matter how you wear or what you match it with, all that matters is that you’re warm when the snow falls.
