Evangeline Topete is a junior at Lemont High School and is ecstatic to be in Journalism for her first year as she continues her pursuits as a writer. Having been in Journalism Club in middle school, as well as being a captain on the speech team and an editor for LHS’s literary magazine, SPARK, she could not be more excited to learn more about Journalism with the amazing Tom-Tom team! As an aspiring author, Evangeline loves writing, public speaking, volunteering and activism. She can almost always be seen with a caffeinated beverage in hand and an AirPod in. While she is painfully musically inept, her favorite thing in the world is to go to concerts, support live music and seek out new artists. In her limited free time, Evangeline loves to hang out with family and friends, watch horror movies, go to coffee shops and snuggle with her three cats.
