The 50 everyone’s been waiting for

Two weeks ago, the biggest game of the year finished and this year it’s not numbered in roman numerals. Whether you are a football fan or not, the Superbowl is a big deal due to its popularity each year. Super Bowl 50 featured the Denver Broncos and the Carolina Panthers pitted against each other to get the big W . People’s attention was focused on the halftime show featuring Coldplay, Bruno Mars, and Beyonce – arguably making it the main highlight of the entire game.

The Super Bowl is known for having crazy and interesting halftime shows. Many famous and talented singers perform and it’s a great honor to be a part of. Coldplay combined many of their songs while they performed. Bruno Mars performed the well known song “Uptown funk” while Beyonce finished off the performance with her new, feature single “Formation”.

Throughout the years the halftime show always creates buzz. Katy Perry performed at Super Bowl XLIX and her performance definitely got conversations going, after all the left shark is still all over the internet. Some may say other Super Bowl shows were better than this year’s, while others may say this was the best halftime show ever.

The left shark got popular by completely messing up the dance routine while katy perry was performing. While the right shark was hitting all the choreographed moves the left shark seemed just a little confused on where he was waving his fins.

For Bruno Mars and Beyonce, this is not their first super bowl. Bruno Mars performed as the main singer at Super Bowl XLVIII while Beyonce performed as the main singer at Super Bowl  XLVII.

The Super Bowl is definitely looked forward to, from what sports teams get to play to the performers, it’s always a countdown. The real question is what does Super Bowl 51 have in store for us?
