Ghirardelli Boxed Brownies: The Journey to Discover the Perfect Brownie Mix

I was impressed by how well the brownies rose as I was taking them out of the oven. I was pleasantly surprised with the final product. “The texture is perfect,” I thought. “I hope it tastes as good as it looks.”

Brownies. Arguably one of the most delicious desserts to consume. The ooey goodness of this chocolate sweet is undeniably amazing. But what happens when you run out of the right ingredients or are simply too lazy to make them homemade? Ghirardelli has your back. 

This is a brand I had high expectations for, and it unsurprisingly met them. The three ingredients are ¼ cup of water, ½ cup of vegetable oil, and one egg. Adding these with the brownie mixture took less than 5 minutes to prepare! All that was left was to pour the batter into the pan and bake them for 40 minutes. So far the only negative factor was waiting for the delectable brownies to finish their time in the oven. After the 40 minutes were done, the mouth watering brownies were removed from the oven. 

Cutting into them, they were gooey yet still stayed together well.  I took my first bite after the brownies cooled down and I was shocked. The few ingredients that were combined made something better than I could ever make from scratch. A warm and delectable chocolaty flavor filled my mouth. The brownies had a flawless consistency – they were soft with a satisfactory firm texture. 

Over the next few days, I noticed the dessert was quickly disappearing from the pan as my mother, Lynn Barry, became addicted to eating them. 

“These are the best brownies ever. I don’t know why we have never made them, but I absolutely love them,” Barry said.  

Taking this into consideration I asked Madeline Sauer, a junior who strongly dislikes brownies, to try this dessert. Shockingly, she had some positive words to say about it. “This isn’t the worst thing in the world! I actually don’t hate these,” Sauer said. 

If you are looking for a new treat to love, I would highly recommend these brownies, as they didn’t fail to impress a true brownie skeptic.
