What should you be spending your money on at Sephora?

Sephora is a popular place and also trending on social media.

Sephora has been a place of interest among all ages for decades now. In more recent years, skincare and makeup from Sephora started trending on TikTok, which tweens and teens have access to.

Although influencers might convince their audience that a product is worth their money, that is not always true. Many influencers or content creators actually get paid to promote a product, even if the product is not high quality.

Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez, a well known brand at Sephora, created a liquid blush in 13 different shades. This liquid blush, Soft Pinch Liquid Blush features a radiant finish and is acne safe. However, some shades of this blush are very pigmented and only one dot of product is needed on each cheek. Various users on TikTok mention that the blush lasts all day on one’s skin. Additionally, Soft Pinch lasts on average 12-18 months. With all of these pros, the Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Brush is worth your money!

Another great product is the Sol De Janeiro perfume mist. The line features over 20 perfume mists with many trending at Sephora. The most popular mists are Cheriosa 59, Cheriosa 40, Cheriosa 68 and Cheriosa 62. It is very common to see middle schoolers wearing these mists as they are trending on TikTok. If you are looking for a great gift to give, the Sol de Janeiro perfume mists will be a hit.

However, I would say the Drunk Elephant Anti-Pollution Bronzing Drops with Peptides are not worth your money. As of May 2024, the drops are $38 for such a small amount. Some even comment how the drops don’t blend well and are sticky. There are brands such as L’Oreal, Saie or Versed who have cheaper options and sit better on the skin.

Overall, these are opinion based and everyone is subject to their own opinions. Sephora has thousands of products that are worth your money. Before you buy, think about if your purchase is necessary or you are purchasing just because an influencer recommended it.
