Katie Knutte is a junior at Lemont High School. She enjoys writing, playing soccer, and spending time with her friends in her free time. Katie especially loves to write poetry and science fiction, and also enjoys photography. Some of her favorite books are: How to Kill a Mockingbird, The Divergent series,and The Hunger Games series. She has been playing soccer for twelve years. Katie´s favorite classes are: English, Journalism, German, and Yoga. She has taken a variety of AP and Honors courses throughout her high school journey. Katie decided to take journalism to improve her writing skills and style and to learn how to report, cover stories, and grow as a writer.
