As the 2018 school year comes to a end, we talked to Meghan Wilcoxen, one of the family and consumer science teachers, and cheerleading coach about why she loves Lemont high school and her favorite memories and about the upcoming year.

What is your favorite part about working at lemont high school?

“My favorite part about working here is just the people, i think that the students and teacher here are just so inviting and welcoming and it truly makes coming to work everyday enjoyable.”

What is your favorite memory of this year?

“My favorite 2 memories this year is when we were announced a blue ribbon school because it was such a great honor and when we won state for cheer.”

What are you most excited about for next year?

“I’m excited to continue to develop the curriculum within the family and consumer science department.now that we are one to one there is so much that we can incorporate into the curriculum.”
