Since before kindergarten I loved to read.  I went into my first classroom having already read my first novel, and my love for writing quickly followed. Words held so much influence with me at such a young age, because they could literally do anything. Words could change lives, influence governments, impact the world, or create completely new ones. Words pushed me to pursue a career in journalism where I can hopefully make an impact on our world.
