Lauren Tacbas is a senior and this is her second year as a Tom-Tom staff member. She is described by her friends and family as being goofy, genuine, and relaxed. Lauren enjoys taking long naps when she shouldn’t be and drinking way too many energy drinks. In between writing articles, she can be found dozing off while trying to catch up with her homework. Lauren is excited to work with the rest of the Tom-Tom staff members to publish revieting articles.

The Common Application, otherwise known as the Common App, is the most prominent online platform that students are using to apply to colleges. The Common App’s popularity stems from its user-friendly features and its convenience to the application process, in which a single application form is distributed to multiple chosen colleges.
