With New Year’s resolutions beginning to thaw, Hive Fusion Fitness in Lemont is springing into action with upcoming collaborations, events and wellness opportunities.
Established nearly a year ago, Hive Fusion Fitness is located at 228 Main St. in Lemont and operates as the “sister company” of Bee Well Collective.
Dr. Danyelle Andrews, the owner and founder of both Bee Well Collective and Hive Fusion Fitness, opened the latter in an attempt to offer a multifaceted, holistic approach to wellness.
“You can get some help with your nutrition, you can get physical activity, you can work through stress management [and] get coaching on different lifestyle changes that you want to make,” Andrews said. “It’s really our attempt to have it all.”
From cardio classes to meditation rooted in martial arts, Hive Fusion Fitness aims to foster an inclusive space for women in search of specialized wellness programs while still including classes open to the broader community. In doing so, Andrews intends to bridge the gap left by the discontinuity within healthcare.
With spring on the horizon, Hive Fusion Fitness’s primary goal is to cultivate a space where members not only maintain consistency in their wellness but enjoy it as well, whether that be through monthly Fusion Social events or restorative yoga classes.
Their current 40-day Spring Challenge is just the beginning of what this season’s awakening has to offer. The event encourages members to participate in a challenge leading up to spring break that combines activity, community engagement, fitness and fun. Hive Fusion Fitness is also offering complimentary merchandise, services and raffle prizes for members interested in rekindling and strengthening their habits.
Hive Fusion Fitness has several seeds planted and ready to bloom for the upcoming season’s itinerary, including their anniversary celebration open house on April 11, which will offer free classes open to the community, wellness talks led by Andrews and a variety of membership deals.
On May 17, Hive Fusion Fitness will be hosting a free nine-mile Hive Trek bringing nutrition to nature with a scenic walking route, healthy snack breaks and more, offering a wonderful opportunity to learn more about becoming a member of the colony.
As you awaken to the growth that spring has to offer, Hive Fusion Fitness is the destination to pollinate your budding fitness goals.
“Come and try it out,” Andrews said. “You really have nothing to lose.”
