Six Flags has decided to bring back Fright Fest for its 2024 season. All over the park, people dress up in frightening costumes trying to scare guests within nine different decorated areas of the park.
Six Flags Fright Fest is happening at 20 locations in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Fright Fest will be open from Sept. 14 through Nov. 3. The park is open on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. with haunted attractions starting at 7 p.m.
“All guests under age 15 years or younger must be accompanied by a chaperone who is at least 21-years-old to be admitted to, or remain in, the park during Fright Fest,” Six Flags Great America posted to their website.
This new rule will change the park’s atmosphere as more adults will be present than before.
There are five haunted houses that are inside the park during Fright Fest. There are two returning haunted houses: The Estate at Wretched Meadows and Big Top Terror. There are also three new haunted houses: Saw 20th Anniversary, Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Stranger Things. Guests can get a pass to go into every haunted house one time for $35 per person, which does not include park admission. A ticket for both park admission and haunted house attractions costs $60 per person. Get into the spooky spirit and visit Six Flags to enjoy Fright Fest for the 2024 season.
