Katelyn is a senior at Lemont High School, and she’s actively working as a manager at McDonald’s. You’ll find her always listening to music, or being with friends. Her last 4 years of being in school, she’s learned a lot about not only herself, but the people she surrounds herself with. After high school, she plans on going to Lewis University to major in Business Management.

Mrs. Sharon Karpiak wearing her new Fitbit Blaze watch. “I love it! I wear it every day it’s the best thing I’ve ever gotten,” said Karpiak. The Campus Supervisor says that she has had the original watch for three years but recently got her Blaze around Christmas. She gets about 14,000 steps a day when walking around the school. Her goal is to reach at least 10,000 steps every day.

The snow, combined with the ice, would have allowed for the parking lot to become nearly impossible to drive in had there been school Feb. 9.
